Trace Adkins Bus Crash
A pickup truck crashed into Trace Adkins tour bus leaving 2 people dead.
The country singer Trace Adkins was not aboard the tour bus that crashed and none of the members of his band where injured. However the men in the pickup trucked where believed to have been killed on impact. The pickup truck had crossed the division line and crashed into the tour bus this morning on their way back from the casino.
Trace Adkins show at the Martina McBride in Bossier City, LA. is still scheduled to go as planned.

Taylor Swift Grammy Controversy
Kelly Clark has something to say on the Taylor Swift Grammy Controversy. Clark sent an open letter to Scott Borchetta who defended Swift after her poor performance during her duet with Stevie Nicks at the Los Angeles ceremony.
It all started when Borchetta defended Swift by saying:
This is not American Idol. This is not a competition of getting up and seeing who can sing the highest note. This is about a true artist and writer and communicator. It’s not about that technically perfect performance.
Here is Kelly Clark's letter to Borchetta:
Wow… Dear Scott Borchetta, I understand defending your artist obviously because I have done the same in the past for artists I like, including Taylor, so you might see why it’s upsetting to read you attacking American Idol for producing simply vocalists that hit ‘the high notes’…
You know what, we not only hit the high notes, you forgot to mention we generally hit the ‘right’ notes as well. Every artist has a bad performance or two and that is understandable, but throwing blame will not make the situation at hand any better.
I have been criticized left and right for having shaky performances before (and they were shaky) and what my manager or label executives say to me and the public is ‘I’ll kick butt next time’ or ‘every performance isn’t going to be perfect’.
I bring this up because you should take a lesson from these people and instead of lashing out at other artists (that in your ‘humble’ opinion lack true artistry), you should simply take a breath and realize that sometimes things won’t go according to plan or work out and that’s okay.

Discovery Middle School Shooting
The Discovery Middle School Shooting has unfortunately left a 9th grade student injured after being shot by a fellow student who is not in custody of the police.
The student who was shot was rushed to a nearby hospital and sources say the the student was shot in the head. The shooting took place at 1:30pm Friday at the Discovery Middle School in Alabama. No other students or faculty where harmed.
11 Year Old Gives Birth
An 11 year old gave birth to a baby boy today in North Eastern U.S. For privacy reasons the name of the girl and baby have not been released to the public.
Reports say that the girl and baby boy are "fine" however one can only imagine in what state the 11 year old girl is in after having given birth. Being pregnant is a lot of stress on a woman's body and must be even harder for a girl.
Casey Johnson Died of Diabetic Ketoacidosis
Diabetic Ketoacidosis is what has been determined to be the cause of death for Casey Johnson.
Casey Johnson had been dealing with diabetes since her childhood. Diabetic Ketoacidosis is caused when there are high amounts of sugar in the blood and low amounts of insulin. When suffering from Diabetic Ketoacidosis the body begins to use fat for energy and can then cause the body to go into a coma.
In Casey Johnson's case she had left this complication untreated and therefore died of natural causes at the age of 30. She was engaged to Tila Tequila, was to be the heir of the Johnson & Johnson fortune and had an adopted daughter.

Kiteboarder Killed by Sharks
A shark attack at Stuart Beach in Florida killed kiteboarder Stephen Howard Schafer.
Stephen Howard Schafer was kiteboarding along Stuart Beach when a shark attacked him and bit him several times. This is the first fatal shark attack since 2005. Authorities are now trying to figure out what type of shark killed Stephan.
