Historic Vote on H.R. 2499
The U.S House is set to vote today on H.R. 2499 also known as the Puerto Rico Democracy Act.

The H.R. 2499 is a bill that will "help bring America's promise of self-determination to the U.S. citizens of Puerto Rico for the first time in 112 years" said Gov. Luis Fortuno.
Ultimately the bill works to help Puerto Rico have a say if they wish in U.S territory. Up until now U.S citizens of Puerto Rico can't vote for President, are no represented in the U.S Senate.
