Do Something Awards 2010
The annual "Do Something Awards" honors the youth in America that contributes to making a difference in their communities.
The nominees where picked in May and the winner of this years Do Something Awards 2010 will receive a $100,000 grant. Alongside each nominee automatically receives a $10,000 grant for their nonprofit.
UPDATE: This years Do Something Awards 2010 WINNER is: Jessica Posner, age 23, from Middletown, Connecticut.
The Do Something Awards also gives attention to the celebrities that use their fame to help communities in the U.S and around the world such as Matt Damon, Ben Stiller, Shakira among others.
The Do Something Awards 2010 starts today at 9PM EDT on VH1 and will be hosted by Jane Lynch.
