15 Yr Old Tricks Apple with Tethering App

15 year old Nick Lee managed to trick Apple by creating a tethering application disguised as a flashlight application.

What is tethering? Tethering allows you to use your cell phone signal to get Wi-Fi on your laptops so you can go online. Usualy this isn't free, in fact AT&T charges $20 a month to get this feature. However Nick Lee found out how to get it for free!

Nick Lee created an application called "Handy Light" which was basically a program that made the screen white or any color so you could use your iPhone as a flashlight.

However inside the app there was a hidden code that would make it into a tethering application. By activating this option you could easily surf on the internet completely free.

If you have "Handy Light" downloaded you can continue to enjoy the tethering option for free, but unfortunately Apple found out about Nick Lee's scheme and it is no longer available to download at the Apple Store. :(

Maybe Nick Lee or anyone elses wants to make another app with the hidden tethering option?
