Maxine Waters Ethics Charges
Representative Maxine Waters will be facing ethics charges which will further add to the political troubles that Democrats have undergone this year.
The investigation involved Waters efforts to help a back that has ties with her husband, Sidney Williams. Waters was seeking federal aid from a bank in which her husband owned stocks and also had served on its board.
The finding in the investigation against Waters is expected to be made public on Monday. The House ethics committee has declined to make any further comments.
New York Democrat Representative Charles Rangel is also facing an ethics trial in fall. According to HuffingtonPost.com it is on, "charges that include failure to disclose assets and income, nonpayment of taxes and doing legislative favors for donors to a college center named after him."
