Is the Coconut Crab the Largest in the World?
The Coconut crab looks like a creature out of a sci-fi movie but it is in fact the largest terrestrial arthropod in the world.

Wow! The Coconut crab received its name thanks to its ability to crack open coconuts which they eat.
The Coconut crab can grow as big as 3 feet and can weight up to 40 pounds. They are usually found around the Pacific ocean or Indian ocean.
Another odd fact is that these crabs are also known for being robbers! Which is why some people call them robber crab. Coconut crabs tend to sneak into homes and steal anything that is shiny.
