Chile Miners – Will Take Months to Reach Survivors
Chile cheered on as news of the miners who where trapped in a collapsed mine where alive, but how long will it take to reach them?
The Chile miners have been trapped 2,500 feet underground for 17 already and authorities say that it will take MONTHS until they can dig a tunnel to let the survivors out.
There are a total of 33 miners that have been found alive in the copper mine. Authorities estimate that they will reach the miners around Christmas time, which means that aside from working on the tunnel to reach them, they also have to help them survive mentally and physically.

If you commute on the LIRR (Long Island Railroad) then be sure to bring along a book, newspaper or iPod to keep yourself entertained as there will be delays after a recent fire on the LIRR.
Railroad officials have reported a fire at the switching tower which has knocked out ALL services except for one line. There are no injuries reported.
Officials are now working on a plan, with time ticking, as the evening rush nears bringing in over 100,000 commuters on the LIRR who travel home after work.
Currently the ONLY branch operation is the Port Washington Branch.
Tettegouche Arch – GONE!
The famous Tettegouche Arch that was along the Shovel Point Trail at Lake Superior is gone!
Tettegouche State Park recently reported that the Tettegouche Arch has collapsed!

A naturalist that was in the area discovered that the Tettegouche Arch had fallen over the weekend and park manager Phil Leversedge confirmed the news.
Currently, at about 20 ft from the main cliff, there remains a seat stack. According to Leversedge the collapse occurred to due natural erosion and weather.

Compartment Syndrome Tackles Football Team
A total of 18 players from the Oregon football team for McMinnville High School where diagnosed with compartment syndrome.
What is compartment syndrome? Compartment syndrome is a very rare soft-tissue condition that produces swelling and sourness around the triceps.
A total of 18 players from the same football team where diagnosed with compartment syndrome after football practice.
Doctors at f Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville, where the players are being treated, said that the patients had high levels of CK (enzyme creatine kinase) which is usually released by the muscles when they are injured. This is dangerous because high levels of CK can cause kidney failure.
While an investigation is underway, high levels of CK can be caused by using medications, food supplements and vigorous exercise. So far this case has been labeled as a medical mystery.
Fortunately the students that where hospitalized where treated and up until Sunday only 10 remained hospitalized but where soon to be released today, Monday.
Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco DATING
Evelyn Lozada, from VH1's Basketball Wives, and Chad Ochocinco are dating.
TMZ reported the news today that the two are an item. Via TMZ:
Things are so serious between the two, we’re told Chad will be popping up on her show next season.
But sources close to the couple tell TMZ … VH1 is pissed at Ochocinco about the relationship — since he’s the star of a dating show that’s currently airing on VH1! We’re told the network doesn’t like the “spoiler” that Ochocinco doesn’t end up with anyone on the show.

Mariah Carey Pregnant? – Baby Bump PHOTOS and VIDEO!
Back in June Newsoholics reported on the rumor, is Mariah Carey Pregnant? Sources said the news was true and that the couple was trying to keep quiet. Rumors of Mariah Carey's pregnancy have sparked up again after her performance in a concert in Brazil.
While singing at a concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Mariah Carey seems to have a very noticeable baby bump in the photos that where taken on August 22nd!
Mariah Carey even tweeted after her concert:
“Tonite was tuff 4 me 4 personal reasons,but U got me thru!”
While there is no official confirmation of baby news from Carey or her husband Nick Cannon, it seems that the two are expecting but trying to keep the news on the down low for now.
Mariah Carey is also in talks with the hit show American Idol to be part of the judge panel. She is also working on a Christmas album that will be in stores by November.

Tropical Storm Danielle 2010 is gaining strength as it moves towards Bermuda from the Central Atlantic.
So far hurricane experts have predicted that up to 7 big hurricanes could be forming up for this hurricane season.
Up until now Hurricane Alex, which reached category 2, is the only Atlantic hurricane of the season.

Harold Dow Cause of Death?
News that veteran CBS reporter Harold Dow recently died unexpectedly this weekend begins to come in but many are wondering what was Harold Dow's cause of death?
As of now, Dow's family has only released the following statement:
“At the time of Harold’s death, he was suffering from adult onset asthma. On Monday, August 16, 2010, Harold checked himself into the Valley Hospital emergency room in Ridgewood [New Jersey] for severe asthmatic symptoms.
According to the Hackensack [New Jersey] Police Department incident report, an inhaler was found on the floor of Harold’s vehicle. Therefore, it is believed at this time that Harold succumbed to an asthma attack while behind the wheel.”
Harold Dow is best remembered as being the correspondent for 48 Hours on CBS, where he worked for 40 years and also is the winner of 5 Emmy Award's.
Harold Dow was 62 at the time of his death and leaves behind 3 children and his wife, Kathy.
Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer WEDDING!
"True Blood" actors Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin got married on Saturday.
The True Blood couple where said to have exchanged vows in Malibu at a private resident. Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin said "I do" under a tent near the beach.
The couple officially announced that they where engaged in August. Anna Paquin also announced in June that she was bisexual.

Van Gogh “Poppy Flowers” Painting RECOVERED
A painting believed to be by Vincent Van Gogh known as "Poppy Flowers" or "Vase and Flowers" was recently stolen from a museum in Egypt but was fortunately recovered today.
The Van Gogh painting called Poppy Flowers was believed to have been painted by Van Gogh in 1887. Many years ago at the same museum in Egypt, Mahmoud Khalil museum, the same painting was stolen in 1978 and recovered 10 years later in Kuwait and now history seems to have repeated itself.
Police arrested an Italian man and woman who where trying to leave the country with the painting at Cairo airport. The Poppy Flowers painting is worth an estimated $50 million.
