Easy French Toast Recipe!
Seems like many people are craving French Toast today and this happens to be one of my specialties. French Toast Recipe is simple and it is a very easy and fast breakfast the the entire family will enjoy.
First you will need the following:
- Bread (white or whole wheat)
- 1-2 Eggs (depending on how many people you are cooking for)
- Milk
- Orange Juice
- Butter
- Maple Syrup
So the first step is in a wide bowl, that will allow you to place a loaf of bread in easily, mix 1-2 eggs, milk and a tiny bit of orange juice. There is no exact measuring needed, just calculate and make sure that you don't go overboard with the O.J. If you're only cooking for 1-3 people then you only need to put in 1 egg.
Then place butter on a hot skillet and soak a loaf of bread in the liquid mix on both side. Place the loaf on the skillet and flip it over once it's brown. Repeat!
Serve with some maple syrup and enjoy! You can also put some cinnamon sugar on top!

Robert Schimmel Dies from Car Accident
This Saturday morning begin with tragic news that comedian Robert Schimmel has passed away.
Robert Schimmel, 60, leaves behind 2 ex-wives and 6 children. Schimmel passed away at the Phoenix hospital after suffering a car accident.
Robert Schimmel is best remembered for his comic role on "The Howard Stern Show". The accident involved his son and daughter, 19, who was driving the car. His daughter tried to evade a collision ahead but the car ended up rolling on its side.
Robert Schimmel's son and daughter seem to be recovering fine but Schimmel was in "critical condition" and today he sadly passed away. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
New Zealand Earthquake 2010 – Shakes Christchurch
The New Zealand earthquake struck about 35 miles from Christchurch city and caused much damage but fortunately no major injuries are reported.
The massive earthquake was measured at 7.0 with an aftershock of 5.7 only 20 minutes later. People are reporting that much of the electricity service is out. There are also damages to building and home as well.
What Are Gumby Suits?
At the recent oil rig explosion, the 13 crew members aboard the rid where able to survive thanks to their "gumby suits".
What are Gumby Suits? They are an immersion suit that many people at sea are trained to use. Since putting on the suit is kind of difficult, many people have their own way of getting it own, but practice is essential to make sure you can get it on quick.
Recent Oil Rig Explosion in Gulf of Mexico DETAILS
The New York Times reported today that there has been another oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico.
The recent oil rig explosion is east of the Deepwater Horizon rig which is the one that exploded in April, known as the BP Oil Spill.
The oil rig explosion was reported by the US Coast Guard this morning however it is not clear as to how much oil is leaking.
All crew members are reported to be ok and where rescued by nearby civilian boats. The platform involved in this oil explosion is named Vermillion 398 and is owned by Mariner Energy.
T.I and Wife Arrested for Marijuana – Going to Jail Again?
Rapper T.I was arrested with his wife Tameka Cottle, aka Tiny, last night in L.A after police smelled marijuana from their car.
T.I, still on probation after spending 10 months in prison, and his wife where arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. They where later released on a $10,000 each bail.
Only moments before T.I and Pherrell where photographed working at the studio before the arrest. The couple where arrested at around 10:30 p.m. at 9255 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.

TMZ suggest that cops may have found "purple drank" after photographs of the vehicle showed styrofoam cups which could be evidence os Sizzurp or codein syrup.
Michael Douglas – How Bad is His Throat Cancer?
Actor Michael Douglass has revealed that he has stage 4 throat cancer after an interview on the Late Show with David Letterman.
As Douglass pronounced the words Stage 4, the audience gasped, but how bad is stage 4 throat cancer? Will this cost Douglass his voice?
Michael Douglass, 65, said that doctor gave him an estimated survival rate of 80%. While Stage 4 cancers is advanced, there are many categories within this stage. The tumor can be big in size and have extended to other tissues or the tumor can be small but spread into the lymph nodes and neck.
Douglass said that his doctors told him that the cancer had NOT spread to other parts of his body and that his throat cancer is treatable as he is currently being administered chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
His wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, commented that she wish they had caught the cancer earlier, however in Douglass' case, the tumor was will hidden under the base of his tongue.
James Jay Lee Dead – Discovery Channel Hostage Situation
James Jay Lee is the disturbed man that was captured today at the Discover Channel building where he held hostages.
UPDATE: James Jay Lee is DEAD after being shot by police at 4:48 PM ET.
In Silver Spring, Maryland, James Jay Lee held 3 hostages at the Discovery Channel building. But why does Lee have a grudge against Discovery TV?
Lee was arrested two years ago on March 2008 on disorderly conduct charges. He was arrested after throwing thousands of dollars in the air. The money came from the sales of his properties in Maui and to prove that money means nothing to him. James Jay Lee believes that humans are responsible for the deterioration of the Earth and that the Discovery Channel should focus more programs on this problem.
Fortunatly all the hostages are now safe and the gunman is in custody.
As for Lee, who mas moved by Al Gore's "An Inconvinient Truth", on his MySpace he states the following:
"I want Discovery Communications to broadcast on their channels to the world their new program lineup and I want proof they are doing so. I want the new shows started by asking the public for inventive solution ideas to save the planet and the remaining wildlife on it. Nothing is more important than saving ... the Lions, Tigers, Giraffes, Elephants, Froggies, Turtles, Apes, Raccoons, Beetles, Ants, Sharks, Bears, and, of course, the Squirrels. The humans? The planet does not need humans."
Hurricane Earl Headed Towards Ocracoke Island
As Hurricane Earl continue to move, its path is now directed towards North Carolina and will be affecting Ocracoke Island most.
The National Hurricane Center has advised residents of Ocracoke Island to evacuate as the strong winds of the hurricane pose a big threat to their safety.
Visitors and resident of the Islands took ferries to reach safe land.
Weather forecasters predict that the hurricane will reach the Outer Banks area by early Friday.
