Giant Monitor Lizard Found in California
A 5 -foot monitor lizard was captured in a condominium complex in Riverside, California.
The Riverside County Department of Animal Services responded to a call about a "Godzilla" like lizard being loose in a complex.
When officers arrived they found the 5-foot monitor lizard that weighed 45 pounds. Monitor lizards are not illegal to own in California but they are originally from Africa.
