The White Stripes Break Up
Jack and Meg White of the "White Stripes" have officially announced that they are no longer a band.
The duo said on their website:
“The White Stripes do not belong to Meg and Jack anymore. The White Stripes belong
to you now and you can do with it whatever you want. The beauty of art and music is
that it can last forever if people want it to. Thank you for sharing this experience. Your involvement will never be lost on us and we are truly grateful.”
Jack has been busy with his 2 other bands, Dead Weather and the Raconteurs as well as Third Man which is his record label. Jack and Meg where once married but later divorced.
