Frida was born on July 6, 1907 in Mexico. She is well known her painting "pain and passion." Her art became very famous thanks to the influence of Mexican and European culture, most of her painting where also self-portraits.
Frida Kahlo died on July 13, 1954, she was only 47 years old and was married to Diego Rivera who was a muralist and communist.
