Human Centipede II Banned in UK

The "potentially obscene human sequel to Centipede ' represents a risk of harm to viewers", says the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).
This is a movie directed by Tom Seis, under the production of Eureka Entertainment, the plot of the movie  had been stored secretly until the movies presentation to the BBFC. The movie is about a story of a man sexually obsessed with the DVD recording of the first Human Centipede that introduced the "centipede" image, humans connected to another by anus to mouth.
Part of the film includes a scene in which the protagonist wrapps his penis in a wire of spikes and rapes a woman.

This is the first film that has been absolutely prohibited since 2009. The BBFC has banned only 11 films in its history of 99 years.

The BBFC said about the recent ban : "The Board also seeks to avoid classifying material that may be in breach of the Obscene Publications Acts 1959 and 1964 (OPA) or any other relevant legislation". The OPA prohibits the works of content that might significantly harm or corrupt those who see it.

BBFC’s ruling: “ Whereas in the first film the ‘centipede’ idea is presented as a revolting medical experiment, with the focus on whether the victims will be able to escape, this sequel presents the ‘centipede’ idea as the object of the protagonist’s depraved sexual fantasy.”

A spokesman from Eureka Entertainment in the UK said:  " The company was surprised " by the ruling. The movie was recently released in Australia and uncensored. Eureka Entertainment will have 6 weeks to appeal to the Video Appeals Committee.

For Christina Aguilera it was a dream come true to sing the national Anthem for the 2011 Super Bowl, unfortunately she mess up the lyrics.

Christina Aguilera's fail moment was when she sang: "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming," when she was supposed to sing "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming."

Aguilera apologized for her error later saying:

"I got so lost in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."

Should Christina Aguilera be forgiven for messing up the national anthem?

Medina's story left many in tears. Just before getting married Medina's fiancee, Juliana Ramos, was in a car accident that left her in a wheelchair and with serious brain trauma.

Medina stuck by her side and since then has become her caretaker along with her mother.

A very moving story, but many believe Medina's personal story is giving him a head start in the competition. In American Idol it all comes down to: Can he sing?
