ESPN Zone Restaurants CLOSING
5 of 7 ESPN Zone restaurants will closing soon.
ESPN Zone, owned by Walt Disney Co., recently announced that they will be closing the 5 ESPN Zone restaurants that are in New York, Las Vegas, Washington, Baltimore and Chicago.
ESPN Zone is an arcade-style restaurant that has suffered from the economic crisis and consumers are wasting less money on restaurants. The ESPN Zone in Times Square, New York has a pricey real estate which doesn't help in operating the company for profits.
The remaining 2 ESPN Zone restaurants are in Los Angelas and Anaheim, California.

Happy National Donut Day 2010! Who doesn't love donuts? Sure they aren't the best thing for your health but eating one now and then doesn't hurt.
Many stores will be giving away free donuts today! Participating Dunkin' Donuts stores will be giving you a free donut when you buy coffee, tea, latte or Coolatta.
Even better, Krispy Kreme will be giving away free donuts without having to buy anything.
National Donut day is celebrated the first Friday of every June. The tasty celebration was created by the Salvation Army as a way to honor the women who served donuts to the soldiers during the First World War. I'm off to get a donut!

McDonalds Shrek Glass Recall
The major fast food chain McDonald's has issued a national recall of their "Shrek" theme glasses due to a "cadmium" contamination.
The toxic metal cadmium was found on the painting designed of the Shrek glasses. This forces McDonald's to know recall over 12 million of the glasses nationwide.
U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission are warning that people stop using the glasses immediately. McDonald's said that they will be posting more information about refunds on their site next week.
The Shrek glasses where being sold in the U.S for $2 to promote the new movie "Shrek Forever After" and come in 4 presentations.
So how can this toxic metal cadmium affect your health? Long exposure to cadmium is known to cause bone softening and severe kidney problems as well.
However the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission spokesman Scott Wolfson said that the McDonald's Shrek glasses that are being recalled have "far less cadmium than the children's metal jewelry that CPSC has previously recalled."
McDonald’s Gay Ad Video
McDonald's recently released a new advertisement in France that is very pro-gay which at the end says "Come as You Are."
The video is about a teenage guy that is still in the closet and his dad know nothing about him being gay.
