Patriots Dynasty Still Alive And Strong
Most prognosticators around the NFL – including the Super Bowl predictions from BetUs – are projecting pretty much the same thing: the New England Patriots will be in the Super Bowl.
It’s hard to argue with the experts at this point. The Patriots are 11-2 and with what’s left on the schedule, they should be able to lock up home field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. The Green Bay Packers visit this week and with an ailing quarterback like Aaron Rodgers (concussion), the Pats may get a freebie. Beyond that, they have two contests with the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.
So if the Patriots do finish 14-2 and lock up home field advantage in the playoffs, how tough will they be to beat?
For starters, the Pats have won 26 straight regular season home games that quarterback Tom Brady has started. Considering he’s playing like an MVP right now, that home field advantage might be even stronger.

On top of that, the Patriots have a very young defense that has performed a bit better at home than on the road. Without a doubt, they would much rather have the fans cheering them than jeering them, and the Pats should be able to lock that up with a few more wins.
When you consider that only 11 teams in the NFL have a winning record on the road, home field advantage will be huge.
When you do the math, the Patriots are clearly the team to beat. And if they get to the big dance, given their track record, they are a great pick to seal the deal. Don’t be surprised if they have another ring at the end of this season.
