When is the First Day of Fall 2010?

The first day of fall 2010, also known as autumnal equinox 2010, will begin this Wednesday, September 22, 2010.

So what changes during autumn? During the Autumnal Equinox the sun is right above the Earth's equator. This also causes there to be the same amount of hours of day and night. Eventually the length of nights will be more than the length of daytime.

The first day of fall 2010 will begin on September 22, 2010 and will include all countries in the Northern Hemisphere such as the U.S, Canada and Europe.

Personally I love autumn, you can go out with a light sweater and best of all watch the trees go from green, to orange to red. Of course cleaning up all the leaves around the house can be tedious but the scenery is beautiful. What do you enjoy about fall?
