October-21-2011 – End of the World?
Harold Camping now predicts that the end of the world or apocalypse is on October 21, 2011.

89 year old Evangelist Harold Camping says that his first forecast of May 21, 2011 was played out "spiritually" as it was "Judgment Day" and that we only have until October 21, 2011 until "The End of the World".

Dalai Lama Announces Retirement
The 14th Dalai Lama will be retiring from his political role, representing the Tibetan people, but will continue to be a spiritual leader.

The Dalai Lama said, "My desire to devolve authority has nothing to do with a wish to shirk responsibility. It is to benefit Tibetans in the long run."
For years the Dalai Lama has requested that the government in exile make constitutional changes in order to relieve him of his authority and appoint a new leader. The move was seen by many as an attempt to heal the rift between the exiled people and the 6 million Tibetans that are in China.
